On September 16, FOX CT Reporter Jim Altman (second from left) took on David Parekh, VP of researchand director of United Technologies’ Research Center (left) in a ping pong game to benefit the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. On hand to ensure the rules of the game were followed and everyone had fun are Research Center Analyst Kitty Liu (second from right) and Ann Pean (right) from the United Way.



FOX CT Reporter Jennifer Lahmers had the pleasure of emceeing the 7th Annual 5K Classic at the Farmington Valley YMCA in Granby on Sept. 19. The event helps raise money for the Y’s programs and services.



FOX CT Anchor Erika Arias and Reporter Narmeen Choudhury mingled with the crowd at the Bloomfield Senior Center’s annual Senior Center Expo on Sept. 14.



Courant Columnist Susan Campbell was honored on September 19 with an award by the Connecticut Center for the Book in the Biography/Memoir category for her 2009 memoir “Dating Jesus: A Story of Fundamentalism, Feminism, and the American Girl.”
