Rich Graziano (second from left), publisher of the Hartford Courant and general manager of FOX CT, accepts a check on behalf of the Courant Com¬munity Fund from representatives of the Milan Cultural Association, an association of Indian people living in the U.S. Each year, the group holds a walkathon in September that draws over 3,000 people to Hartford and donates 100 percent of its proceeds to the Courant Community Fund, part of the McCormick Foundation.

On Dec. 16, we visited The Village for Families and Children to donate over 100 Christmas presents purchased by Hartford Courant and FOX CT employees. I am pictured here with Luis Perez, Chief Operating Officer for the organization, who cheerily greeted us as we dropped off the gifts and thanked us for this very special holiday contribution.

Fox CT’s sports reporter Bob Rumbold and anchor Rebecca Stewart joke with one another before rehearsing in the new studio on Dec. 12 just before the inaugural broadcast at 10 p.m.

Courant photographer Michael McAndrews will visit the Gideon Welles School on Jan. 13 and 14. He will meet with over 500 sixth graders and discuss his work as a photojournalist for the state’s largest daily newspaper.
