FOX CT reporter Jeff Valin and anchor Erika Arias are pictured here reading to students at Urbin T. The event takes place nationwide on the birthday of children’s author Dr. Seuss.

JAVA columnist Maryellen Fillo appeared as a judge on Feb. 18 at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville for the CT Specialty Food Association’s Product Awards. And on March 7, JAVA will be hosting the Red Carpet for the third year in a row at the CARC Oscar Night Gala at DISH in Hartford. Attendees are asked to come dressed as “best actor” or “best actress” nominees.
