FOX 61 reporter Narmeen Choudhury used her star power to emcee the Imagine Nation Museum “Celebrating 5 Funtastic Years Gala” held on Sept. 12 at the Imagine Nation Museum in Bristol.



On Sept. 22, Rich Graziano, publisher, president & CEO of the Hartford Courant and general manager of FOX 61 joined Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and other local leaders at a press conference to help kick-off a new initiative - the Interval House’s Men Against Violence, Men Make a Difference Campaign. All of the men pledged to help with the program by raising money and educating children and families about domestic violence.



FOX 61 Morning News reporter Nicole Jacobs hosted the 2nd Annual Healthy Kids Day – An Event To Benefit The Ronald McDonald House – on Sept. 19 at the Silas Deane Middle School in Wethersfield. The day was dedicated to health, safety & environmental issues that affect individuals and the community as a whole.



On Oct. 17, a benefit concert will be held for the Morrin Education Fund at The Warehouse on Bartholomew Avenue in Hartford. The concert features three local bands – Bronze Radio Return, Columbia Fields and Forward Motion. Kids under 21 are welcome but need to be accompanied by a parent. It’s $10 per person.
