FOX CT reporters John Charlton (left) and Laurie Perez (right) posed for a quick photo with Shannon Knall at the Art for Autism event held on March 26 at Lux Bond and Green. Artwork completed by individuals with autism was displayed and sold with part of the proceeds going to support Art for Autism.

On March 26, I attended the Easter Seals’ annual Crystal Ball held at the Marriott in downtown Hartford, a wonderful event that benefits the Center’s Breast Cancer Pathways Program. Pictured here are Marilena Vaccaro, Jo Ann Reinhorn, me and Antonella Wilson.

FOX CT reporter Jeff Valin and anchor Joy Nakrin had the pleasure of emceeing the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Stride and Ride event held on March 21 at Mohegan Sun. Hundreds of people came out for the walk and helped raise over $75,000 for the cause.

On April 13, deputy editorial page editor Tom Condon will speak at Trinity College Graduate School in Hartford on the topic of sprawl – a subject he has written about many times for the Hartford Courant’s opinion pages.
