Make a difference this season for our neighbors in need.
The holiday season is here. Stores have put up trees, malls are decorated and advertisements are brimming with holiday specials. Before you make your list and start shopping, please consider donating to the Children’s Holiday Campaign. With your support, we can offer safe havens with hot meals and warm beds, as well as provide education and tutoring opportunities to those most in need during these difficult times. The McCormick Foundation will match your gift at 50 cents on the dollar. The Foundation, Hartford Courant and FOX 61 pay all campaign expenses, so 100 percent of all donations, plus the match, is granted to local nonprofits. Please visit www.courant.com/chc or call 1-800-931- 5144 today to make a donation and help strengthen our community.
