Jan. 9 was media night at the Warner Theatre in Torrington and Garett Argianas was on hand to welcome and mingle with the crowd.

We love a good party here at FOX CT and Hartford Courant, and that’s exactly what we had on Jan. 12 when we invited over 50 auto retailers in for breakfast and tours of our new studio and newsroom. Pictured here are advertising VP, Nancy Meyer, J’s Restaurant & Bar owner Jordan Dikegoros and Rich Graziano, publisher of the Hartford Courant and general manager of FOX CT. J’s, which is located in Hartford, catered the event as well as our Dec. 17 grand opening celebration and let me just say WOW – they provided a scrumptious array of foods and outstanding service!

Classified advertising director Mary Lou Stoneburner (center) paused for a quick photo with Bolles Motors owners Brian Bolles (left) and Tom Bolles (right) at the Jan. 12 breakfast for auto retailers.

“If we want to save lives and make children safer, we need to look to where the risk lies. School buses aren’t dangerous. Sixteen year- old drivers are.” -- From Rick Green’s Jan. 12 column titled, “Requiring Seat Belts On School Buses Is Not The Answer.”
