On May 26, FOX CT Reporter Laurie Perez, left, was one of four guest speakers at the West Haven Chamber of Commerce annual Women in Leadership Conference held at the Savin Rock Conference Center in West Haven.



June 5 was a busy day in Hartford’s Bushnell Park with the Komen CT Race for the Cure in the morning and the CT Pride Festival and Rally in the afternoon. FOX CT Anchor Sarah French, pictured here with race organizers, and Reporter Laurie Perez (not shown) emceed the Race for the Cure, which brought over 10,000 people out to walk and run for the cause.



Later that day, FOX CT Traffic Reporter Rachel Lutzker emceed the CT Pride festivities (Lutzker also helped emcee the Race for the Cure on behalf of Clear Channel Radio). The event drew thousands into Hartford to celebrate. She was joined on stage by an enthusiastic Sarah French for a quick hello to the crowd.



On June 2, Courant Columnist Gina Barreca appeared on The Joy Behar Show to discuss her book, “It’s Not That I’m Bitter or How I Stopped Worrying About Visible Panty Lines and Conquered the World,” being released as a paperback on June 8.
