FOX CT Reporters Jim Altman and Laurie Perez hosted the MDA’s “Party with a Purpose” on Sept. 5 at Mohegan Sun. The event kicked off the MDA telethon, which aired Labor Day on FOX CT.
On Sept. 6, FOX CT broadcast the 45th annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon which raised almost $1.4 million dollars in Connecticut. Pictured are FOX CT’s Bob Rumbold, Jim Altman, Erika Arias, Brent Hardin, Laurie Perez and Garett Argianas as they work the telethon to help raise much needed funds to fight muscular dystrophy.
On Sept. 1, FOX CT Sports Director Rich Coppola, played in and served as master of ceremonies at the 11th annual FORE! The Children’s Golf Tournament at Whitney Farms Golf Club in Monroe. The tournament is the Parent Child Resource Center’s largest event of the year.
The Comcast Connecticut Women’s Expo is happening this weekend in Hartford. Courant JAVA Columnist, MaryEllen Fillo, will be hosting the fashion show being held today at 1 p.m. at the Expo Center.
