May 2 was opening day for West Hartford Little League and our own FOX CT reporter Jim Altman had the pleasure of emceeing the opening ceremonies. He’s pictured here (second from left in back row) with several coaches and kids from the league.
Courant photographer Patrick Raycraft spoke to a classroom of CCSU students on April 20 about his work at the newspaper, his career in photojournalism and changes happening in the industry.
On April 29, I presented an $8,000 check on behalf of the Children’s Holiday Campaign to Connecticut Food Bank’s Nancy Carrington.
Courant columnists Colin McEnroe (left) and Jim Shea (right) recently made Hartford Magazine’s “Best of 2010” list. Shea was voted best “Local Newspaper Columnist” and McEnroe took home the honor of best “Local Blogger.”
