FOX 61 reporter Laurie Perez emceed the Discover The Great Taste Gala on Sept. 25 at the Connecticut Convention Center. During the Gala, Perez also hosted a fashion show and interviewed Kevin Cottle, a “Hell’s Kitchen” contestant.
FOX 61 reporter Jim Altman, anchor Sarah French and traffic reporter Rachel Lutzker are all smiles at The Great Taste on Sept. 25. All three were models in the celebrity fashion show. French and Lutzker also hosted the “Live From The Great Taste” preview show the following day.

On Oct. 6, Maryellen Fillo will be the guest speaker at the Plainville Women’s Club meeting being held at the Plainville Municipal Center. Fillo will discuss writing her JAVA column and other à la carte stories.
