FOX CT sports anchor Rich Coppola emceed the 69th annual Connecticut Sports Writers’ Alliance dinner on April 25 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington. The Gold Key Award is the highest sports honor in Connecticut; with the Alliance recognizes those who have made significant contributions to athletics in our state.
On April 27, Hartford Courant columnist Susan Campbell spoke at the Lillian Fund meeting in Hartford. Campbell discussed women’s issues in today’s economy and a subject she often writes about – domestic violence.
