FOX 61 Morning News reporters Jennifer Lahmers and Jeff Valin wore their Celtics garb as they took on members of the Hartford Wolf Pack for a little basketball fun last week at the XL Center.
FOX 61’s Jeff Valin, Sarah French and Rich Coppola are seen here at the ING Hartford Marathon anchoring the live coverage of the event from Bushnell Park. The team was on the air from 7:55 a.m. to 11 a.m. and also included Rachel Frank, Jim Altman and Laurie Perez reporting from the race route.
You may not recognize him in his running gear, but pictured here crossing the finish line at the ING Hartford Marathon is FOX 61 Morning News anchor Logan Byrnes. Byrnes, who chronicled his training in a blog called “Logan’s Run,” finished the race in five hours and 13 minutes.
On Oct. 21, editorial cartoonist Bob Englehart took his laugh-out-loud humor on a trip to Cheney Technical School in Manchester to discuss with students how he develops and draws his cartoons for the Editorial Page section of the newspaper.
“Today, such shows Perez reporting from the race route. as ‘I Love Lucy,’ ‘The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet’ (they had adventures?) and ‘The Honeymooners’ wouldn’t stand a chance.
