The CT (WTXX-TV) is always on the town checking out local events, taking pictures and catching all of the fun on video. Here, our MCs on The CT, Dragan Pacirep and Moriah Conlan, hang out at the Goshen Stampede.
Here I am with Cecile Enrico, executive director of Interval House, presenting a grant check on behalf of the Children’s Holiday Campaign.
Deputy Editorial Page Editor Tom Condon recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to testify before the House Committee’s Natural Resources Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands. Condon spoke in favor of a bill that would make Coltsville a National Park, an idea The Courant has long championed.
It’s been a busy couple of weeks for FOX CT Anchor Logan Byrnes. On June 12, he ran the Blum Shapiro 5K For Charity at the Travelers Championship. The following day he served as a judge for the Connecticut UFL cheerleader tryouts. Both events were held in Cromwell.
“It’s time to show that love, mayor. The city needs to move on Jefe, and so do you.” -- From Courant Columnist Helen Ubinas’ June 23 column titled, “Mayor’s Departure Is Long Overdue.”
