On July 14,FOX CT Reporter Laurie Perez played in the ING New England Golf Classic Celebrity Pro-Am at Wintonbury Hills in Bloomfield, featuring local celebrities and Futures golf tour professionals.
The Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz took place in Hartford’s Bushnell Park July 16 through 18 and The CT was there to catch all of the great music, vendors and food booths. FOX CT and the Hartford Courant were sponsors of this event, which typically draws about 50,000 jazz fans into the city. On July 19, FOX CT Sports Anchor Rich Coppola served as the honorary co-chair and emcee for the 2010 Housing for Heroes Connecticut Golf Classic at the Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield.
High-heeled and poised, 150 young women competed at Foxwoods Resort Casino on July 15to see if they have what it takes to be on “America’s Next Top Model.” Winner Sarah Siakie, 21, of the Bronx, N.Y., will audition with producers of America’s Next Top Model, now casting its 16th season.
