On August 13, the Jonas Brothers came to Connecticut for a charity event and a concert at Comcast Theatre. FOX CT Reporter Jim Altman had the pleasure of interviewing the trio right after they beat a team of ESPN commentators 3-0 at New Britain Stadium.



FOX CT added a new broadcast to its lineup – the FOX CT News at 4 p.m. with Rachel Lutzker as host. She is joined by Anchor Brent Hardin on the news desk and Chief Meteorologist Garett Argianas. The show premiered August 23 at 4 p.m. out of Connecticut’s Newsroom.



The Hartford Courant is seeking nominations for the 12th annual Tapestry Award. Each year, the Courant recognizes an individual and an organization in Connecticut that excel in building bridges of understanding in the area of diversity and inclusion. The winners will be honored with a plaque, recognition in the Hartford Courant, and a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choice. P.C. Richard & Son held Grand Opening sales at two new stores in Connecticut — Manchester and Newington. The Hartford Courant and FOX CT advertising teams were on hand to help the electronics superstore giant celebrate on August 19.
