United Technologies Corporation recently sponsored Relay For Life of East Hartford helping to raise funds for cancer research and local health programs. Nearly $150,000 was raised at the event, including $25,000 donated from UTC. Camp Courant's Buddy Bash is scheduled for Friday, September 10 from 6-9 p.m. at its beautiful campsite in Farmington. Be sure to catch the 45th Annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon on FOX CT this Monday, Sept. 6 (Labor Day). FOX CT anchors and reporters will be on the air throughout the day working to raise dollars for this very important cause. Last year’s telethon raised $60.5 million dollars nationally.
